Hello my fellow people: This is a journal from an athesist. Moral Instinct carries humanity forward for the good of all.

    Entry for 22 January 2007

    Hello people:

Today I have written to my local MP, here in Blaby, Leicestershire, UK. A branch of Woolworths here in the centre of Leicester has closed down just in the past fortnight, and as a result the renovation work being done, will take some time to complete, meaning that at present the interior and surrounding area is looking very ugly and uninviting.

Whatever is discussed at the executive level of bussiness seems disparagingly to filter down to a public level in a terribly distasteful fashion. There has been No Public Consultation over this, which is more than annoying, due to the fact that the branch belonging to this well-establish Retail Company in the UK, has been Leicester specifically for close on 80 years, before even the wartime period.

Now I do not regard myself as a very nostalgic person, but as for focal community points which do secure a great of trade in terms of the general function of commerce. I feel that the public in and round the centre of the town of Leicester will not come to appreciate this type of change either quickly or easily.

Whoever has made the decision to move this Woolworth Store from Leicester might have only allowed a lot of resentment to build up about the state of things more widely.

This is an example of Capitialism working only to serve itself. And as we know never considerate in light of the people.

    Bye for now

    Hello People:

Education has either an unspecified or a fairly agreeable definition. I say this because Education per se can be split into two categories: Vocational and Academic.

The structure of societies revolves around the premise of people having different levels of both vocational and academic ability. Whole industries globally are developmentally based around natural and human resources, (manually to technically, Creatively to methodical)

Outside of these parameters lay a specific birth rate of disabled people born with congenial disabilities, each with some degree of medical recognition, as to the characteristics and disorderly affects. There has for centuries been an outlook whereby the perception of disabled people has been purely based on a medical and not a social model.

This is where I find the introduction of education for disabled people of interest, for as the definitions of congential abnormality have changed, the awareness of disabled people within society has altered slightly also. Very much in a positive fashion.

Special Education has gained greater focus over a span of 40 years. The reason for this I believe is that the maintenance and running of institutions has been impossible to sustain and therefore has lead to many disabled people being integrated into communities. Also another reason for the closures of instititions is due to wide moves to reform and amend the adminstrative structure of whole areas of the Health System.

Education for anyone, disabled or not is all part of the developmental promotion of reshaping our baseline notions of the nature of inclusiveness, emphasisizing a concept of “Optimum Value”, cast in a manner which reflects various aspects of human identity, attaining some level of common ground where concrete ideas can be identified with.

Integration, I believe is’n that important as many political lobbyists would themselves interpret it to be. How I would formalise and grant political recognition of rights would be through devising legislation establishing agreement over what understanding is possessed by people towards building a national conception of a “Hierarchy of Needs”, infusing people with the belief towards upholding stability with their culture. Introducing to folk ideas which ferment correlations between Education and Cultural input.

By doing this, the nature of democracy would have to the opportunity to move away from difficult representations, so often tied up in liberal thinking and would thus evolve into a principle which more greatly reflects it’s respected aspirations: Meaning people having control over the own lives.

    Providing official statement.

The term “statement” in reference to Special Education, gives a broad, descriptive outline of the disability a child has: a brief history of the medical classification of their disabiliy, physiotherapeutic requirements. Other noted care frameworks can also be mention to coincide with the contact they may receive from Social Services. Elements of a person’s more private social activities and interests would also be included in part.

    Revising Legislation.

During recent times we have seen a more social and altruistic approach become apparent in the way disability is viewed. I believe this is the case due to the creation of the Community Care Act, which is a UK developed piece of legislation designed to assist in the integration of disabled people into the community. This is what has also prompted a refashioning of statutory provisions over the last 10 to 15 years, leading to a growth in the familiarity of concepts “Empowerment” and “Independent Living”. As these ideas have gained further prominence, bestowing greater physical effect, so we have seen educational reforms come to light.

    * I appreciate you retrieving this blog page as selected among others. Other excerpts from a collection of essays I have written will also be printed as entries in the future. Paragraphs to this work were part of a City & Guilds 9295 – Teaching Assistant/Learning Support I attended in November 2006.

    Hello People:

Last year I attended a City & Guilds course in Learning Support. During this time a few essays were required to be completed, (as you might expect). Here at home there are a few multiple copies of some of them on subjects you may find of interest.

I thought it might be useful make these available to the public to act as a study resource, without the need to reference the source.

The first essay covers matters relating to Special Education: containing a little personal perspective, with reference to the use of terminology, plus an overview of the historical perspective. I hope you find the content helpful in whatever way.

Fundamental parts of the essay (written just last year will appear as a new entry, carrying the same date as this one).

    Bye for now.

    Entry for 19 January 2007

    Hello People:

What I aim to discuss in this blog in the whole grand scheme of things, is to examine, how we, humanity, in account of how many different types of societies do operate, continuely seek and someday achieve in function, a coefficient multicultural system of politics, corresponding to the orthadox nature of religion.

    Orthadox Interfaith Correlation.

Without it’s own sense of justification societies continuely struggle to exist if value systems are not geopolictical. The augmentation of social norms, ideas that institute workable models to family structure, including differential patterns in gender roles all contribute to how the formal operation of cultural transmission successfully develops.

If by the simply fact of human biology, we as a species possess protective instincts, quite natural, nurturing balances to personality. I view it as quite plausible that humanity is also capable by extension of augmenting a dynamic style of politics which promotes the coefficiency of a mutual co-existence, within which intelligent doctrine frames in a altruistic, virtuous fashion, the universality of human expression.

As does happen, if two people belonging to distinct races, enter into a recognised inter-racial relationship, with each belonging to seperate historical religions. Then with this situation apparent, the state has the responsibility to revise their divorce laws, with the purpose in mind of including the incidence of conversion to fundamentally challenge the legal structure and feasibility on a country’s jurisprudence.

In England at present I believe that the adaption to recognising the difficulties attributed to the legality of the workings of an interfaith maritial principles is poorly acknowledged, needing as a result legislation to be created in order to amend these circumstances.

I will write more on this subject in the future. Introducing a notion of Orthadox-cross Nationalism.

    Thank you for the meantime

    John

Hello people: I hope all is well with all readers.

In thinking about the layout of this blog page initially, my reasons for establishing it were to perhaps offer people what I might include within it, the opportunity to extract ideas from the main body of each chosen entry, incorporating pieces of it for any particular research or reference source you may find helpful.

Parts of paragraphs do not need to be attributed to me, and maybe some formulating of the text are required to re-worked in terms of sentence structure and wording, but please do feel free to use what I have written.

Another aspect of the idea I had for this page was to stick to discussing topics, producing essays which I write out of my interest on subjects, and thus publishing my own written material on the blog page. I aim not to talk about myself very, but solely to contribute in the way I am doing.

Quite possibly this method of information sharing, will help to promote the “kind and level” of free-thinking, and communicative exchange I so much personally believe in. Please read the poem below: It is taken from a Buddist text.

Liberating Prayer – Praise to Buddha Shakyamuni.

    O Blessed One, Shakyamuni
    Precious treasury of compassion
    Bestower of supreme inner peace.

You, who love all beings without exception,
    Are the source of happiness and goodness;
And you guide us to the liberating path.

Your body is a wishfulfilling jewel
Your speech is supreme, purifying nectar,
And your mind is refuge for all living beings.

With folded hands I turn to you,
    Supreme unchanging friend,
I request you from the depths of my heart:

Please give me the light of your wisdom
To dispel the darkness of my mind
And to heal my mental continuum.

Please nourish me with your goodness,
That I in turn may nourish all beings
With an unceasing banquet of delight.

    Through your compassion intention,
    Your blessings and virtuous deeds,
And my strong wish to rely upon you,

    May all suffering quickly cease
    And all happiness and joy be fulfilled;
And may holy Dharma flourish for evermore.

Colophon: This prayer, composed by Venerable Geshe Klsang Gyatso Rinpoche, is recited regularly at the beginning of sadhanas in Kadampa Buddists centres around the world.

    Hello my friends:

Nobody has to these days remind anyone else that we are living in times where there is massive degrees of immigration.  The world from my point of view has never been a place where we are so closed off from other people.  What is happening now has occurred in the past mostly under the Roman Empire.  It is by looking at how the Romans held Europe together, that you are able to gain some idea of how Europe and it’s present union has lasted.

As things are at the moment, there are principles which do form part of the future.  How Does the West intend to see through the period, which the mongering British Empire too heavierly exploited.

I am not against what actions have occurred over time, but discissions have to be made that ensure history does not repeat itself, meaning that colonial ideas are never to be entertained by any country again.

My reasons for mentioning this is that a lot of serious negotiations are being delegated concerning energy supplies. The most advantagous means for expenditure on Public Services to be of a good standard, yet be carefully controlled. Plus to re-examine the expectancy there is, that certain jobs could only be preferably filled by foreign people. This I see as being unfair on a foreign workfork who greatly experience racism in society.

    Take care

    John

    OUR SOCIETY: LIFE WITHIN IT

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on January 6, 2007

May I take this time to introduce myself, my name is John Owen, my views on life I will leave to you to comment on.  There are several reasons why I have decided to produce this blog.

In the main if personal conclusions can count for anything at all, we here in the UK, ( as for other places around the world are at a crossing-point, in as far as our relations with international affairs are concerned. On the strength of it: the esteem I have in seriously searching for answers from as a wide a spectrum as possible, has it’ s roots from believing in the reponse of people; to positively reach firm political ideals.

In later entries I will explain how we all must now re-evaluate the purpose of Consummerism and have it broken down, branching a new subject called ”Political Social Economics”.

Any future is hidden within an ethos
