Hello People:

C of E: Clarity of Expression about Arms Trading

Although the achieving of a moratorium on both Cross-Border and International Arms Trading would be difficult; one constant, politically affirmed, reason for this can be put to down to the fact there are also ulterior motives upheld by Nation States content with having the whole subject matter of geopolitical warfare and peaceful settlement grotesquely spoiled or tarnished for the sake of procuring benefit from the maintaining of conflict around the world.

Evidence for such responsive trends being prevalent, can be shown to be followed up with almost complete measures of accuracy. Charitable organizations such as Oxfam who have been operational since 1948, registered as they are Non-Governmental, simply provide the necessary hands-on assistance in affairs which concern the welfare of people, providing aid to them, when displacement, education and political reforms are the main issues.

For Arms trading to come to an end or at least be dealt with National integrity supporting some ”reduction campaign”, ethnic groups need to find themselves hold an economic franchise belonging to their country’s wealth and Gross Domestic Production.

Over the past week, there has been coverage in the news of an award being presented to any African Political leaders who actively work to promote democracy and stability within the premise of their constitutions. The named agency responsible for established this award is called the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. A person known as Joaquim Chissano, a former President of Mozambique received the award just of late, for his recognized achievement throughout governance.

Trick or Threat.

The “Witching Hour” is drawing close again. Folk Stories of long forlorn, “Bog people” are recited at this time. Tales of condemned men and women who die in honour of ritual sacrifice. There is word spread of their ethereal presence at the bedsides of sleeping children, singing to them as they pass through dreams.

The outline of a story of this kind is meant to instill a reader with a sense of subtle apprehension, exhilaration and suspense. Interpretations of the paranormal are regarded as being ridiculous by many, but the occassional nagging anxiety persists. With the faintest of sounds heard usually at a pitch, capable of rendering a person confused. An alternative to the offering of any treat in this case would be to have uncertainty weigh heavily on your mind.

A fastination for the profane is something which driven is by the “alter ego” Man’s inhumanity towards creation, allows for this circumstance to be perpetuated. The most popular of horror films, often portray something of the psychopathological mental-tilting of a killer, based as these scripts are, on what alterative and delusional sense of reality the place of a main character plays.

Introduction.

The deciphering of information as essentially being noted as newsworthy or not, is but one component to perhaps deciding upon the amount of energy and general interest the reporting of an incident as has to run on.

In this entry I would like to examine under what formulations, the criteria for such retrievals of data are used for?

Plus, for what express purpose,is the act of information gathering utilised by journalistic agencies?

The incorporation of visual imagery leading to a desirable notion of someone or thing being portrayed as ideal on one the  hand, or reprehensible on the other; carries the engineered effect of embellishing it’s subject or article in an overwhelming blanklet of concepts.

We tend to tred very carefully around the issue of the effects of mass advertising having a subliminal impact upon public sensibilities. This is what I am most concerned about, in regard to the character and delivery of many approaches to broadcasting and media production today.

An analysis of people’s motivations, personality traits and use of personal initiative, might well assist Advertising Strategists to narrow down an exact niche market from research done.

While if this initial ”testing of the water” produces something of an influence, able at a later stage to have some agreeable application to further embolden the premise of other commercial arcetypes, again there are constant ramifications feeding into definite economic and social ideologies.

Counter-Reponse to Corporate Strategy

Entry for 22 October 2007

Hello People:

Counter Response to Corporate Strategy.

Introduction

In this blog entry today I wish to put forward an idea to any reader of this piece, about proposals I lay open for whole global populations to debate. With each new baby born, there isn’t one person delivered, who isn’t firmly connected to their ethnic kind nor who’s life is not steeply embroiled in history.

The meeting of our physical needs as a species has carried humanity successively throughout generations. From the standpoint of the livelihood practised by our ancestors, to the political circumstances we have around us in modern times.

Amongst all the necessary logical deductions people have made over the length of centuries; evolutionary determination has been involved in securing the survival of all samples to all races. These survival mechanisms may well be written about, and hypothesised upon in the context of how irregular human psychology is, all be it premised on the matter, from which analysis is applied.

Although in the back of my own mind I view the question of human development and evolution operating differently, now that we live with Computerised Technology and Commercialism around us. In no way do I intend to put across to an “Alarmist Perspective” in terms of suggesting the breakdown of our postmodern approach to sociology, nor to provide any such negative outlook on the subject of the future.

Social trends are particularly what they are, demonstrating as is often the case, something of a very dynamic and fluid nature. As a metaphor, human mentality is very much like water, although water in and of itself is able to change shape, naturally do so, when poured into a cylinder or other vessel, with balances determined by Volume and Milli litre.

Democratic Liberalism within societies allows for the permeable value of people’s appetites and motivational drives to spearhead haphazardly into the fabric of a nation’s grounding, equally on a civic level, as on a religious front.

As for the stability of life within a Consumer society, the idea of folk seeking “Instant Gratification” seems to be something of an “unintended consequence” which attaches itself in relationship to the working of the “Free Market Economic Model”.

These forms of liberalising systems attempt to build up legal frameworks with an aim to re-constituting the civil structure of both Municipal and Central governments.

Some evading of issues is undoubtedlcapacitatede, again operating by proxy and hopeful perpetuation, and on running with thicapacitatedr thread, we too I believe require our communities to become Centralised capacitated as regional Local Governments and Educational Authorities, after a certain minimising of the power of Central Governments has been achieved.

Let us look at how the matter of “political disaffection” is often referred to. This term is ofraidised to stigmatise, alienate and marginalise young people, with the media reinforcing a sense of ubiquitous fear toward the experience of daily living within a familiar radius local to a person’s residence and surroundings.

Hello People:

Footnote:  I recently found an interesting website based upon actively giving space to discussing the principles of democracy; spoken of, yes, in Western term; but also elaborating upon it’s notions and embrace in terms of having other hemispherical nations adopt such systems of politics.

The title of the essay is The Islamic tradition of democracy, Human Rights and Secularism. Written by Madeleine Bunting. This essay which she has produced forms part of a Democracy Series, published by the London Hansard Society.  In and of itself this one booklet is headed by the title: Democracy and Islam. Other titles tackling other areas in the mainstream debate are also available.

At this point may I say that in connection with my own piece entitled: The Psychology of the Suicide Bomber; this essay from the Democrasy Series booklet ties in well with what I duely express on the subject of integration and faith.

The Islamic tradition of Democracy, Human Right and Secularism.

Written By Madeleine Bunting

One of the most puzzling and intriguing phenomena in the last two decades has been the growing salience of an Islamic political identity across the globe. Within the Europe, this has taken a very specific form; formulating new interpretations towards national identity.  European Muslim minorities are managing to achieve a shift in the language to “identity politics” enabling something of an Islamic identity to materialise.

They have taken on the concepts used by race equality campaigners, feminists and gay rights to thereby proceed to argue their case.  Over the last decade in the UK, we have seen a shift from those using the designation of Asian to those preferring to describle themselves British Asian Muslims.

The development of Multi-Culturalism in the UK accommodated and revised the idea of ethnic identity mostly in the hope of strengthening our community relationships,  and helping towards putting together new chemical bonds related to Nationality overall. What has arisen over the decade has been a new designation around the question of a person’s adherence to their faith and to that of their nationality. The challenges which spring from the posing of this dilemma, do go some towards becoming a threat to the success of UK Secular Ideals.

To ultimately lay this matter to rest, we must look at what mostly preoccupies a new generation of young British Muslims, and from the circumstances turn things around, producing a healthy and forward-looking debate. One the other hand, there is a strong section of the community who have been actively engaged in clarifying and articulating a British Islam.  While on the other, a political Islamic group named “Hizb ut Tahrir” has to look as much to its context in Western Europe, as to its inspiration in Islam to explain its popularity amongst Muslims.

One of the main resources that this group has been shown to utilise is the apathy and disengagement that many young people feel and relate to their experiences within society. Only 37% of those aged between 18 and 24 voted at the last election. Across ths age group it is widely held that the process is corrupt and that voting in itself makes little difference.

This view is even more pronounced amongst Muslim youth who see that a minority thinly spread across many constituencies will always struggle to get its voice heard in the British first- passed-the-post political system.

Furthermore, there is a operative generational dynamic which is at play within many local communities; whereby an older generation has established a position at high levels of society, while the preaching done at the mosque in the UK squeeze out a younger British-born generation who come forward with very difference perspectives. The result of this is frustration and alienation, having all relevant ethnic group interpret the idea of democracy as both deceptive and hollow.

It is not difficult to see  how groups like Hizb-ut-Tahrir can use apathy and disillusionment to argue that democracy has no value and should be replaced by another political system entirely.

What I believe is actually inferred when the word  ”Democracy” is mentioned is essentially a defence of the values, rights and experiences many people share within a Multi-cultural context.

Whereas, if the concept of ”democracy were to be looked upon objectively, most races across the board belonging to as many Nation-States  would find that the implementation of democratic political structures; alongside the standing of definitions, might just as well decide that there can not be any proper and firm description of what democracy is designed to mean, as it is supposed to apply and appeal to global populations.

To first of all begin to understand the concept of “Jihad” in reference to how this ties in with extremist ideology and suicidal martyrdom, can I believe be connent to the global relevance to the muslim community.

The Psychology of the Suicide Bomber.

The Psychology of the Suicide Bomber.

Introduction.

Although the media phrase “Suicide Bombing” derives it’s context often from the populist sentiment decisively thought to be cowardly and cruel. This has the aimed effect as things stand, of informing the public of the concept in its realism and immediacy.

The trans-literative term “Martyrdom Operation” as adhered to by Jihadists and other Muslims of that sympathetic vein, is when considered objectively as suggestive of a planned scheme for militarised action. Gilded as this is successively; to specific cultural notions of values typifying something of Hero-Worship, the Persuation to Sacrifice, plus ultimately to the right of Self-Determination according to the will of a people.

I have taken some time in thinking about how to approach writing upon a topic like this; conclusively reaching a point in my own mind, achieving a certain success in disseminating in the first  instance, what are straightforward and frank, hostilities aligned with such discussions.

What we have to do, is to take some time to look at the possible ways anyone’s subjectivity might turn, in respect to drifting towards “Islamic Radicalism”.

It is not essentially a form of pathology which pushes an individual to carry out such actions, but often the result  initially arising from feeling ostracized from society.

That aspects to their sense of identity are gradually becoming undermined in the context of interpreting stereotypical presentations in a way that suggests that all Muslims are unstable and barbaric in nature.

On the other hand, the position of the judicial edicts used in Islam (known as hadiths) would ultimately specify a male’s or female’s ways to proper conduct; bringing certain prefixs to heed in terms of how the daily social experience of practising the faith might well pan out.

The question of affecting proportions of one’s subjectivity is a very delicate issuse. For example, the outlook of an individual who is susceptible to absorbing facets of ideologies which are designed to inspire destruction, thus having them volunteer for “Martyrdom Operations, would:

(1) Heavily depend on their own propriority as a believer to that faith.

(2) Their propensity towards becoming offended.

(3) To levels of provocation, holding to the context of the political circumstances.

(4)  To whether ”Disfranchisement to economic opportunities are relevant or not.

No vindication of these attacks is offered throughout the writing of this piece, or neither support for any cause. But with that said, the use of a good analysis towards pointing out signifiers; does provide significance which is then able to be incorporated into the justifications given to such events.  Some level of clear scrutiny is needed therefore, in order that confusion never reigns over us completely.

My use of the word “Psychology” within the heading to this essay, was included in the main to give some idea of how the components to a person’s reasoning may change under forces which are causing them to feel oppressed.

One particular benchmark, to actually perceiving whether a statement may be true or false, can carry some indication through the creditabilty of it’s spoken source.

The readings and talks given by Imams within UK mosques have been examined recently for their content, together with a legal requirement being imposed to ensure that with every meeting held in mosques, the imams (as speakers) recite what they say in the English language.

The national identity of the United Kingdom has in itself a fluid character – with the nurturing of a British Asian/Muslim adherence to the country’s standing included.

Part of the process towards successful integration therefore entails permitting a natural assimilation to occur of all ethnic groups Allowing for religious conversions to a reasonable extent, to be endorced by the society at large, but with the strict requirement of only Islamic moderate thought being legitimised.

A statement given by the Muslim Council of Britain within a publication of a policy paper entitled “Electing to Listen”, and written to underscore a promotion of a notion of British Islam states:

“As the debate on our national identity intensifies, young Muslims, like everyone else, need the space and encouragement to formulate their own reference to Britishness. The debate as it stands – imposed by the media and certain politicians – stifles the ability to discover one’s own national identity.”

(Quote from pamphlet by the MCB)

What is said in the context of this statement I very much agree with.  the workings and appearance of British National Identity has an extremely aloof quality attached to it.  There are times when the dynamics of it’s existence, demonstratively project a character of non-relevance and ambivalence, which ulteriorly provokes something of a angry socialised reponse in people.

My reasons for this opinion stem from holding some reproach for ideas, orginating from the traditions, resting in support of English Liberalism, which I feel are damaging the standing of the country.

I personally would be very prepared to see a new British Constitution drawn together, having better standards of representation devised for the many ethnic groups.

Proposals for each area of Liberal Democratic Culture to be legislated for; so that the notion of being in defence of a person’s rights and freedoms,  would not then automatically have to contend with any strand of contradiction or hypocrisy.  By modifying statutory elements of ideology in this way, it would be hoped that a clear set of differentials, would begin to help separate the definitions attributed to “Liberal Thinking” from that of “Secularism”. Of which I regard is an important change to make.

The sections of social phenomenon that need desparately to be challenged and scrutinized for their measure of undesirable influence are concealed within the:

(1) Gun Crime Culture

(2) Availability and Market for Illegal Street Drugs.

(3) Sex Work. The issuing of penalties first of all to act as a warning. Prior to any act of sentencing being applied.

The use and purpose of the penalties would be designed to tarnish one’s reputation in terms of your professional/leisure related identity.

Non-evasive Surgery adminstered to Disabled People.

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on October 8, 2007

In this blog today, I would like to put a perspective on a piece of UK news concerning a disabled adolescent female named Katie Thorpe. This young lady has a fairly common disability called Cerebral Palsy. This particular condition affects people to various differing degrees, alternating between creating impediments in speech, mobility, hand to eye co-ordination, whilst sometimes affecting a person’s learning capacity.

But in mentioning this, the fact stil remains that the aetiology to all of these possible dysfunctions of body, rests upon the relevances of probability, and are otherwise difficult to determine through the natural analysis used for reproductive selection.

Due to the severity and manifestation of Katie Thorpe’s disability. On reflection over how her circumstances are “prima facie”, all her physical care is met by her mother throughout the course of her daughter’s daily life.

What would be the better course of action to take, would involve removing a sample of Katie Thorpe’s ovaries, subjecting them to Pre-Genetic Diagnostics, (PGD - is a process connected to in vitro fertilisation, equivalent to amino-synesis which is a little more evasive).

From the point of retreiving the ovaries, these could analysed for their quality of health and usage, frozen and stored, in anticipation of external fertilisation at some later period.

Postulating the value of carrying out a hysterectomy at this stage, leaves there to be little room for discussion, as to how other types of medical intervention might help in ending the menstruation process entirely in the case of this adolescent female.  Perhaps through working with these method, an entitlement given to disabled people to have children of their own might not spark such a ethnical debate.

Thank you

John

Democracy: An Exploration of Form

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on October 2, 2007

Hello People:

What can be said to be truely influential? The notion of ”Freedom”, is extremely ambiguous, when pro-offered to a population with little or no civic structure; as a matter of course. While the need for a network of securities, is a prerequisite to devising a political structure, in and of itself.

A sincere co-habitation of cultural ideologies needs to be acquired over the intercession of the next century.  At the present time there exists I feel an imperfect compromise, between what may be required for a country to do in order to obtain satisfactory level of assimulation among ethnic groups.

The question, for example of using such terms as “minorities” should not cause anyone concern; mainly due to the fact, that if the virtue for good and efficient communication is embraced by many people, the nature of our harmony, together with the neccessity for Human Organisation will lead to an universality becoming recognised as essential.

An analogy similar to that of non-identical twins can be made of the comparisons which are prevalent between Capitialism and Democracy. For as they are both separately two distinct political philosophies, each tackle through their methods of delivery, something connected to the complexities of human affairs.

Provisions and entitlements characterises the manner in which we live today, and with that said, the nature of modern democracy is certainly underpinned by notions of franchise, the promise of wealth, opportunity and redistribution. The face of modern cacapitialism riddled with political limitations however, most of which are not openly and publicly debated.

My sense of what may actually be the truth, is that a large proportion of money, obtained through Government borrowing abroad, is successfully handled by representatives off-shore. Suggesting as this would that a country’s capacity to reireinvigourself economically is not entirely within its control.

Any considered opinion would say that this is the case within the UK, which has experienced a ferocious increase in consumer spending over the past decade. There is roughly a figure of 81,000 people held in British Prisons, with a equally high re-offending rate.

Questioning the management of an economy is not often necessary, but in the context of the British Government, under an English Parliamentary System, involved as they are in an Iraqi Gulf War, sustained by an insurmountable degree of National expenditure, it has to be asked whether or not, it is the British Armed Forces who are actually at war, rather than the British population in isolation.

In order to properly promote Democracy around the world; the whole relevance of Liberalism needs to be eliminated from the operation of political restructuring.

Understandings over how “the West” approaches the matter of problem-solving, I believe is too closely correlated with its known reputation for concentrating too heavily on what has been referred to as “Anglo-Liberalism”. This system to working concerns itself with manipulating the free market model in order to produce a satisfactory over that of other global competitors.
