Approaching the subject of affecting the global political establishment.

Introduction.

There are many kinds of unique opportunities to progress in life, from the perspective of what civil provisions exist and lay open for people to scrutinize. The values upheld and supported within segments of a Liberal Democratic umbrella ideology, drift eventually towards coming to substantiate the thrust of an idea resting on the defence of the freedom of the individual.

Now without too much of a prelimenary indepth form of remark being put forward at this stage, attaching something of an air of proclaimation, as it would, to be to any sense of general definition; covering matters relating to the promotion of Personal Development and Self-esteem; a number of Westernly-orientated principle philosophies aim at expressing the desire to have man become the heir apparent to an indemnified concept of himself, within which the use of contemplation and reflection helps towards the conbining of just as many measured frames of reference, as each type and character of society hopes can be made stable.

During the lifetimes of previous generations, the question of the position of technological innovation was not exactly known  or expected I feel to gain the status it has obtained over the last 50 years.  Accepted and justified as being integral to both our homes and working environments.  Increasingly prevading some might say, while failing to acknowledge the strength of faciliation such connections to the external world indeed brings.

To have people begin to feel reassured that there is agreeable benefit to be procured from plans to provide greater scope and expansion in improving our terrestial ability to communicate via electronic means, what needs to be politically demostrated to many more citizens around the world (other than those residing in the Western Hemisphere); is the fact that Democratic ideals can be, with the consent of a majority, enjoyed by people of any creed or colour.

It is not therefore a pre-ordained certainty that only folk of a white and European heritage should solely be viewed as believing in these values.

The aim in writing this entry is to release into cyberspace and published to media outlet, an idea directed toward giving the right of possession to mass numbers of global citizenry a legitimate grounding for their own use and pragmatic pratice over conferring to rules governing the ”freedom of speech” and the writing of political opinions.

The Voice and Representation of the Globe: What is the future for Communications and information.

The idea of any set of democratic values is indeed something that needs to be understood. Where the debate on such issues gets particularly muddled in as far as providing certain clear definitions about the nature of politics running along on democratic lines, concerns the juxtaposing of “civil liberties and individual responsibility”.

In respect to countries like the UK, there is a parliamentary system known to be organised on Liberal Democratic principles, but has only two relevant historic documents holding this form of ideology together.

By name these are: The Bill of Rights which helped to put flesh on the bone of what skeleton constitution we do have, despite the fact that this strand of historic involvement do mainly highlight times where enactments made under English Rule apply the most to the over sense of the topic. As for the period when this was primarily introduced, we are talking about being within the mid-sixteenth century under the reign of Elizabeth the first, when England itself, was preoccupied in a struggling war against Spain.

Secondly, the creation of the Magna Carta 1215 (Grand Charter) of which a certain King John had no choice but to sign after becoming held under obligation by a group of Barons and Earls; it is this that led up to the atrophying of what monarchical alegianances which fortified the experiences of further wragglings, war and union toward somew eventual conclusion.

I mention a little about these times first of all, because I think there are connections to how the development of Western thinking came about.

To even begin to incorporate ideas of freedom more successfully into the basis of a state’s national character, there needs to be the proper implementation of Republician ideals, of which I feel that there is someting of an undercurrent of resistence displayed by many countries around the world.

Giving people the chance to examine how democracy might be exported to other countries, could I believe be achieved by helping people to understand what impact the intergration of both Secularism and industrial processeses might have upon their way of life.

In my own my own opinion, it is quite possible to now at this stage in the history of the globe, to extract from the placement of Nation States, the authority governments have to exercise control over Communication utilities, broadcasting and Freedom of Speech.

If for instance people can be taught to speak a second language, then the sort of advantage which could materialise from this, would be for nationals of a ethinicity, where they form a majority, to lend political support for a certain foreign national to speak on a particular subject relating to their country’s internal affairs.

Optimum defence of Western Democratic values applicable to any jurisdiction could then allow a single individual to speak openly.

More often than not, Religious beliefs and politics do hardly co-exist peacefully. I do not say this with the intention of wishing to portray myself as being outwardly sceptical.

By comparison, any attempt toward seeing diplomacy and negotiations remain on a positive footing between ethnic groups, helps in also keeping to a promise that the idea of being simply humanitarian does work for the benefit of all.

Whilst recognising the place and semblance of differing geopolitical systems of law, equips people with an understanding still further of the need to acknowledge the historical endowment of entire regions, embracing diverse notions of identity also leads to appreciations being forged towards welcoming the expression people show of the cultural mentality of nation states.

On the other hand, it would be best for all governments to end every relevant association they have in tandem with ecumenical philosophies. Supporting the call for an international moratorium to be created, requesting that the practise of religious conversions within multicultural societies be legally prohibited or else kept to an absolute minimum, at a level of a thousandth person per head of a population. This would enhance the establishing of peaceful settlement overall.

At present I feel that there is to much use of categorisations been applied to circumstances leading to all manner of coercive methods being utilised culturally towards affecting the political sensibilities of all races of people.

Differing continental jurisdictions must be fully seen as legitimised according to their positioning in the world, with not so much of an East and West divide primarily existing, augmented and fueled as it has been by contemptible hostilities, but to have established first and foremost agreements made by each party in consort, that there is a requirement bound under treaty for the maintenance of World Order, however much renegotiations, and the reconfiguration of a political harmony formulates.

A brief remark on the subject of Globalism.

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on November 20, 2007

When have we not been primarily, a world; before ever being faced with the introduction of Globalism?

Any coverage of late about current political affairs often does include speaking about the changes “globalisation” is bringing about on many an economic and industrial platform.

Countries are having to adjust to many possible threats attached to societal exposure, as we now come to more greatly register the opening out of civilised life in the 21st century.

Yes, social structures are reconfigured during periods whereby the workings of people’s family dynamics are challenged by trends and resettlement.

With emphasis on the incidence of crime, delinquency, and failing standards of education within schools. All of these kind of issues seem to be a feature of modern life, displaying repeated signals of continuity.

Listeners to radio and viewers of television are often left with impressions (extending their perspectives forward) to then infer that the character of the society they live in, is deteriorating.

The truth about the workings of perception are key here from the perspective of dispelling relevant fears.

But like all firm strands of deliberated communication, so too maintained by previous generations of humanity, the associated meanings to be discovered within the context of our own contact with peoples of other cultures and physical appearances begs out to be meritoriously reconciled, akin no other voice nor contributor acting against their word.

Monstrosity

Monstrosity:  In the context of meaning.

Hello People:

The basis of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” is a piece of work which challenges the notion of both human consciousness and psychology. Posing the question as to how far the influence of science, will ever be allowed to possess throughout it’s integral demonstrative understanding of life at a molecular level.

The book elaborates well on the strict parameters attached to the consequences of producing such artificial forms ,mulling over the question of dignity and belonging to a society per se.

Mary Shelley was herself the daughter of Mary Wollstonecraft, a renowned philosopher, Academic and feminist. This fact in part has lead to the overall quality of their written works and acumen being recognized as intuitively perceptive, reflecting the social experience and disparity in gender equality at that time.

Whereas, H.G.Wells imagined the scientific invention and eventual prospect of time-travel.
Moving into areas of inquiry whereby, the regeneration and reconstituting of the human soul appears to give man the moral authority, and to which also makes him culpable to the scrutiny of others, undoubted ably carries the weight of an ethical debate behind it.

When looking at what particularly founds a culture, there are always several orientations towards emphasizing the status of peoples, integrity of ceremonies, celebrations of birth and marriage, child bearing and child rearing. Gradually over some measure of time a historic compendium covering the entire life-cycle gains foundation, and as accumulated, the collection of all these inter-workings of principle, firmly aids in a nation’s move towards political ascendancy.

The purposes of Science Fiction, alike the lucid character to Surrealist Art carries the desire to reorganize our patterns of thought, suggesting that if only things or situations can be shown to be relative to everything else, proposals calling for the reshaping of normal conventions are more than possible to achieve.

Science Fiction Literature does therefore pose ideas which allow people to explore every way and means to expanding upon human knowledge.

To any Breadth of Readership

The returning to formal debate on subjects relating to the political headlines printed in newspapers and television broadcasts, is a matter which keeps on surfacing in the UK.  Political Affairs work with particular strangeness here, portraying something of an ambivalent nature in as far as people show themselves to be unaware and not concerned with matters bearing upon the negotiations and plans for development, representatives undertake on either a Municipal, National and International frontier.

The UK is peculiarly a very ethnocentric place, and I believe the country will continue to struggle to keep its air of Pomp and Circumstance as every month and years proceeds.

With over three hundred years of a presiding parliamentary democratic system, which at this stage, I believe is now finding a whole array of International influences tricky to manage and agree upon, each individual is much less connected with the phenomenon they may only witness on the streets of cities than how the well-being of their families may be.

One Mirror, many reflections!

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on November 7, 2007

Usually there is only the most scantest level of awareness held by many Western people, over how complex the matter of International affairs can be.

Whenever the term is used in reference to there being the placement of countries around the world, possessing as you might expect; a distinguished National legislatory Executive body, and reciprocal Judiciary systems; the perception put across to rising generations of youth resident in the West, concerning ideas about what specifically categorises the International standing of a State to be viewed as positioned at an economic loss, poor and indisputably carrying the label of a “Third World” status,  this circumstance contributes to the contemporary problems we face in light of the detection and prevention of Terrorist Threats.

Over many centuries, the constitutional leverage and frank basis for governments to operate in both African and South Asian countries has been steadily eroded, or either usurped by ambassadors and diplomats who represent a whole range of official delegations visiting in order to gain agreement on corrobrative settlements.

Opportunities are open to us all at this stage, to create a new and dynamic future for those who will have to adjust to Globalisation. Now that the Postmodern history of both the British and Europeans becomes, at least less relevant to an increasing number of inhabitants in the West, it is right at this junction to ensure that the growth of a sense of inclusion, to naturally be for instance, British Asian or Asian American is not curtailed in any fashion throughout its development by  the imposition of other forms of extreme opinion and political leanings towards Ethnocentrism.

What direction next for Youtube

If there’s a suitable term or phrase which is best able to present an opening opinion on this piece, a preferable initial reference would be given to the value of “User Generated Content”.

The growth of people having home-computers, has also facilitated a more subtle effect to occur, in that the ownership of such equipment by the lay householder, has increased the demand for primary degrees of technological knowledge.

The creation and of the Internet since the 1960’s, coupled with how it has matured and developed over time, has surpassed people’s expectations, perhaps even surprising the scientific technicians, who initially saw that there were opportunities of expanding upon previous ideas, those of which possessed more of a military-orientated purpose to their nature.

To really begin to look at whether or not the status of such Media-Outlet websites do possibly introduce a political dimension to the basis and reasons given to people’s uploading of material, could I believe be regard as founded on “spurious assumption”

Yes, URL sites as You-tube can be used in a way that helps the public to stay engaged with politics at some level, but who exactly are political parties trying to target?

Are instance, the number of legitimate taxpayers employed in either a white or blue collar industry, thought of as forming the main body of a “Political Class” and who take part in democratic processes; or does the title of “proletariat” still remain relevant to discussion of this sort.

People who work in primary Public Service industries, do I believe qualify as belonging to a “Political Class”, however they are recognized as being or not.

Therefore the inclination towards wishing to have the use of communications tool to elaborate upon a political message, falls within the bracket of simply being included amongst all the various kinds of information, noteworthy or otherwise, being obtainable as it commonly is on a global scale.

Being Tight-lipped: What future for Political Correctness?

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on November 3, 2007

Hello People

With the introduction of statutory mechanisms incorporated into the civil infrastructure of all States, it seems that the integration of both “Liberal” ideology and “Political Correctness”; do in tandem contribute to the modern and spontaneous makings of social orders we see lived out in such places as Europe, America and Austrailia.

What I wish to concentrate upon, through commenting on the development of “political correctness” as a political concept; is to first avoid producing a discussion, on the way our viewpoints, can become so easily regarded as frivolous and whimsical.

Particularly, in light of the kinds of allegations which do so often appear remodelled as case studies, similar on most grounds except for there being the needful, required appreciation for the value of situational differences.

The call for arbitration proceedings and proper lawful oversight, founded on the guidance and research of committees and councils; has been essential to the ability of Governments to  push for reforms on issues relating to parliamentary and democratic systems.

The granting of rights to people using European Legislation, linked to the defence of their Human Rights, has led to the phrase “Political Correctness”ascending to mainstream understanding, among many collective populations.

It is the responsibility of all governments to provide reassure to the electorate, of the legislative reforms being made to a country’s legal system on behalf of the people themselves, and thus displayed through how they are represented.

Sharing ideas with a view to helping a nation revise it’s constitutional basis, means that the participation of all diplomats from however many political factions, must be encouraged to contribute to talks over the future direction of their country.

Having always to contend with certain individual extreme opinions in society, using language which makes a listener feel that your suppostions are justifed in both natural consversation, or otherwise in debate, does assist also in putting across the impression of Multi-culturalism operating for the greater good of all.

States worldwide who have incorporated into their foundations, a standpoint whereby Civil Liberties are defended, could perhaps begin to re-examine where ideas of Liberal thought are interwoven together with Democratic Theory.

Liberty should not be too heavily associated with notions of Freedom, but should rather be correlated with a person’s wish to command something of their will.  To believe in the virtue of self-preservation and dignity.  Possessing majority agreement over what is presently at fault in the Western world.

I ask all readers to muse on how our systems of governance may function differently. This could to a reduction in hostilities we do most often have directed towards us.

Asian Immigration to America

Posted in Uncategorized by jotl on November 1, 2007

Enquiries into the relevance of this statement has only seriously arisen over the past decade. Whether it is solely of concern to politicians in America, Canada, Australia, Europe or England, questioning on how well assimilated Muslims are in this one Trans-Atlantic continent may always be difficult to decipher.

Numerous Diasporas of peoples differing in both their race and creed have migrated to America since the 1800s. Sometimes by the request of governments pertaining to that era offering people the chance to be involved in the development of “A Free World Concept”. But with this said, the experience South Asians ultimately over this period, wasn’t at all good.

We have to be able to cross-examine whether discussions of this sort still remain helpful to the efforts put into of social reform. Given that the Immigration Laws in operation during these pinnacle stages of America’s economic progress, impinged upon the granting of opportunities for both South and East Asians, this question digs up some very cruel reference to history, and I am surprised that the whole matter is now again allowed to resurface.

From the point of view of accepting their membership and participation as citizens to Western Democracies, I am simply of the mind that the incidence of Terrorism in connection with being of Asian origin is something of a nasty blotch upon what has otherwise been a strong historical struggle towards achieving a wider recognition within American society.

Without getting too pre-occupied with the position of Asian Muslims in U.S., I do feel that it is necessary to ask, where the convert to Islam fits in to all this. Too much attention can be unevenly given to the semblance of ideas which place an importance on a person’s native origin, their appearance, (if matching to accepted stereotypes)and to their use of language (their mother tongue. It is these kind of attributes to a person’s identity which are carried over to wherever they may travel.

Muslims do hold to a concept relative to the faith which expounds the connexion to all Muslims, that they share in a brother/sisterhood with anyone of the same religion. Seem as this might to transcend the existence of Nationality; American patriotism still is able to hold together, given that the number of Asians abroad have long been part of settled communities.

There is a of culture in itself to pay regard to in America, and I think that Muslims have shown themselves to be capable of embracing Secularist notions to life and liberty.
