Valkyrie: Malalai Joya.
Leave a country vanguished after war, and the single moral compass its people have to rely on comes from what exceptional personal focus and pragmatism certain individuals display during times of extreme adversity.
Human rights activist and Afghan politician, Malalai Joya, democratically elected in 2003 as a delegate to the guard assembly, the Loya Jirga by the Afghan people. As a representative, Malalai Joya has blantantly stood in defense of the national integrity of her homeland.
Joya’s solitary and yet rightful political advocacy for Human rights within Afghanistan is pioneeringly noteworthy, and yet since passing a discursive comment on the condition of the Afghan parliament; saying it resembled a “zoo”, threats towards her life remain constant, living conscientiously on the run.
In 2005 despite of every menacing risk, Malalai Joya was elected to the Wolesi Jirga (the lower house of Afganistan’s first parliament). Still the shells fall, receiving the majority vote from people in her home province of Farah, Joya is currently suspended from the chamber for making what is just is a ”off the top of the head” and fairly genuine critisism”.

Martin Luther’s dream, Obama’s Golden Opportunity.
After all of the fun, frolics, and electoral razmataz; we have an African-American President for the very first time. For a worldwide Black diaspora watching Obama, winning the presidential race simultaneously proves that there is still a whiff of fight in the Pan-African spirit.
To clinch this victory Barack Obama has used political manoeuvres which tap into elements of both the citizen’s overarching self-awareness of the world and circumstances around them, of their feelings towards their homeland and sentiment towards places foreign.
Portraying himself as an agent for change, with tirades in high octaves; he sees the possibility of all his mentionable purposes having life breathed into them through taking democracy of some kind of trajectory ride.
Doting on a past (rights of man) manuscript might just prove insufficient during this globalizing phase. Cultural concepts do their own bit of swashbuckling; and only one type of renaisance excels over all others, a nebulous archetype where clearly atavistic ground rules apply.
From every turn and expos’e predominant in the world, Barack Obama will have to hide what frustration he harbours over the nature of world order; and learn to tabulate his own ideas with cutting-edge intellectual synchronicity, managing to push fresh revivals in societal thinking ever forward.
